Four years running.

The house lit up. Nobody on the roof.

Hanging lights is easy on the porch rail and miserable on the roofline. That second part is the one we take off your hands.

Nobody has to go up the ladder

Rooflines and peaks are the part people dread, usually on a cold weekend with numb hands. That is ladder work, and ladder work is what we do every day of the year.

Straight lines, even spacing

Lights read from the street. A run that dips between clips or stops a foot short of the corner is what you notice every night until January. We hang it straight the first time.

Done in one visit

No weekend lost, no second trip to the store for one more strand. You tell us what you want lit, we turn up and put it up.

Your lights hang on our work.

Most of what a roofline light is attached to is a gutter. That is the part of the house we know best.

01

Lights hang on your gutters

Most roofline lights clip to the gutter lip or the first row of shingles. We are on those every week and know what holds and what pulls loose.

02

Full gutters drag lights down

A gutter packed with wet November leaves sits heavy and overflows. Clips on its lip sag with it, and water spilling over the edge runs straight across the strand.

03

Both jobs, one call

If the gutters need clearing before the lights go up, we will tell you, and you can book the two together instead of hiring two companies for the same roofline.

Gutters not done since the leaves came down? See gutter cleaning.

Text a photo. Get a price.

You don't need anyone to come out and measure. A photo of the front of the house tells Tommy almost everything he needs to price it.

01

Photograph the front of the house

From the street, far enough back to see the whole roofline. Add a second shot if there's another side you want lit.

02

Tell us what you want lit

Roofline only, the gutters along the front, the peaks, the porch. Say whether you have lights already or want us to bring them. A rough idea is plenty.

03

You get a number, not a callback

A flat price for your house, and a day that works.

Christmas Light FAQ

It depends on how much roofline you want lit, how high and steep it is, and how many separate areas are involved. A single-storey front with one roofline is a very different job from peaks, dormers and a second storey. Text a photo of the front of your house and tell us what you have in mind, and we'll send you a flat price before anything is booked.
Either works. If you already have lights, we'll hang yours. If you don't, or yours have seen better days, we can supply them. Just tell us which when you get in touch, and the price we send will cover it.
We can. Take-down is something we agree with you up front, so tell us whether you want it when you get in touch, and when you'd like them down. Some people want them off the house the first week of January, some leave them up longer. Either way it's settled before anything goes up.
They shouldn't, if the lights go up on the right clips. Anything nailed or stapled into a gutter or through a shingle leaves a hole that can leak long after the lights come down. Clips that grip the gutter lip or slide under the shingle edge come off clean and leave nothing behind.
If the leaves are down and the gutters haven't been done since, yes. Late fall, after the leaves drop, is when we recommend cleaning anyway, and a full gutter holds water and debris right where the clips sit. We'll look when we come out and tell you either way.
As early as you can. Light installs bunch up in the weeks either side of Thanksgiving, when everyone wants them up at once, so the earlier you get in touch, the more choice you have on the day.
